Overview
If you are interested in human hair clip in extensions, you will need to know how to apply them on your head to get the style you want. There are several different ways you can apply them to achieve a wide variety of looks, but here are some basic application instructions to help you get started. You will have to experiment with placement and so forth in order to get the style you are looking for.
First, style your own hair. You can use your thumbs or a comb, but you should section off parts of your hair all the way across from temple to temple and don't forget the hair behind your crown. You will need some clips to help you section off each part of your hair. Twist up the ends and clip them at the top of you head, with the ends facing your forehead.
Use a comb to slightly tease the roots of your hair along the line you created.
Align the strip of the extension at the line, above the teased roots and then slip in all the pressure-sensitive clips.
Once the clip is in place, remove the clips you used to move your own hair out of the way. This will allow your natural hair to cover up the clips. You may need to restyle your hair to help hide the clips. If this is the case, take some time to experiment with your hair in order to find the best look for you.
